How to I connect Window XP with Android 2.1?

My Windows XP cannot recognize my Colby Kyros tablet (MID7015) with Android 2.1 . I need to find software that will enable them to interface. When I jacked in the Colby, my PC recognized something was there (an icon marked "Removable Disk F" appeared in My Computer), but when I tried to transfer files to the Colby, I got an error message: "Please insert a disk into Drive F".
