Sims 2 for the PC question?

How do I resume my game?? Like i played & saved. now the next day I want to play again, but i dont know how to get back to that game? where do you go? on the main menu there is no option. Idk. I have sims 2 double deluxe if that matters. I recently bought it and im used to sims 3 xD
