What's a good allowance for a 14 year old?

I don't really get paid for doing chores, because I know it's my responsibility and I hate dirt and mess anyway so I do it without getting told xD. And I'm never going to get paid for doing good in school because my mom kind of expects it and I expect it for myself too. :D My parents said I could get an allowance so I could learn to save but can't still decide how much yet. I'm thinking of $30 a month.Is that good? Or is that too much? Thanks :)
