Why do i love dbz, but hate anime?

I'm 21 and loved dragonball/z since i was 7. As a kid i loved it for the action, as a teen i though i was too "cool" to like it, but got back into it later and found i out liked it for more adult reasons and understood some of the realistic messages it had, not to mention some of the asian cultural philosphies hidden, (esp buddhism) which i appreciate more as an adult and an ex -martial artist. ... Buuut, i fkin hate anime. I appreciat the neat art and sometimes the interesting plots, but alot of it is just....ugh, i dunno. Like it's cheesy and has cheesy humour, i know dbz is guilty of it sometimes too, but now where near as bad as others. They all have stupid looking characters with stupid names (not trying to say anything about the japanese language) and stupid voice overs that sound g@y and over-dramtic. I even hated it when dbz got popular for the 1st time...it's like dbz lost its value to some extent, then erverytime i said i like dbz, people said "pppftt, yeah u and a million others u anime nerd"...pissed me off. Do i hate other animes bcuz it's not dbz? I just think they all suck in comparison, even retarded naruto, although i'll give it some credit for being creative, but i still dont like it.
